Our Policies

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR EVENT/COOK DATE:

Please make sure your kitchen is available to your Chef at the arrival time of the event or cook date. Have as much counter & refrigerator space cleared as possible. Also, if there is a dishwasher, it would be best to have it emptied prior to the Chef's arrival.

In the event you are not at home at the time Chef Suzy needs to enter your home to prepare and cook, please make sure to leave the Chef detailed instructions on entering your home, as well as a cell phone number at which to reach you. On the day of the event/cook date, Chef Suzy may be reached via the cell phone number: (209)790-9228.

 

Minor menu substitutions may be made as needed due to availability of seasonal ingredients and/or product quality. Any significant changes will be approved in writing prior to the date of the event. 

Our Food Allergen Policy: 

We take your health seriously. If you have celiac disease or other food allergies, it is important to notify us during your consultation. For example of celiac disease: If your kitchen is not a dedicated gluten-free zone, please let us know and we will bring dedicated equipment to prevent any cross-contamination. 

SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Weekly Meal Personal Chef Services Cancellation/Payment Policy:

The Client has 3 days prior to the scheduled day by 12:00 p.m. to cancel a scheduled day for personal chef services. If you cancel after the cut-off day and time, a cancellation fee of $100.00 will be charged to you. This is due to the nature of the Personal Chef business and the difficulty of scheduling another client to fill that day. Payment along with grocery reimbursement is due on the day serviced, unless otherwise arranged. Suzy Q’s Cuisine will provide the receipts of the purchases for reimbursing. Should Chef Suzy become ill or have an emergency that may conflict with your scheduled cooking date, she will contact you with as much notice as possible. If you would like, she will attempt to make an alternate date available. Should she contact you within 24 hours of your scheduled cooking date and you would like to reschedule, she will provide you with a 25% discount of the services upon rescheduling.

Private Events Deposit/Cancellation Policy:

A deposit is of 50% is required for a private event. If you are forced to cancel your event with less than 3 days by 12:00 p.m. notice, then your deposit will be held for the cancellation fee. If your event is cancelled within (1) week of the event a cancellation fee of $100.00 will be assessed. If any deposit remains after the $100.00 fee, the rest will be credited back to you.

Cooking Classes Cancellation Policy:

PAYMENTS:

A 7-day notice is required to cancel cooking classes for a full refund.  

Event payments must be made directly to Suzy Q’s Cuisine by Cash, Check, Money Order, or Venmo. Final Payment is due on the day of the event, once the services have been rendered. Any amount due that is not paid when due, Suzy Q’s Cuisine may engage in an attorney for collection purposes, or in connection with any bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, whether or not litigation is commenced, then you shall pay the attorney's fees, expenses and court costs in addition to the full amount due hereunder.
